Abraham Lake received 2 cm of snow this morning. The lake is snow-covered between Windy Point and Cline Landing, with less snow as you get to Preachers Point area. Ice thickness is 20+ cm at all major bubble viewing spots. You can still find bubbles at the Ice Bubbles Viewpoint, Hoodoo Creek, Abraham Slabs and Cline Landing, but you will need to bring a broom or car brush to sweep off the snow!

Preacher's Point is in late season conditions, with some cool ice features and great bubbles to be found if you look around. Watch for weak, fractured ice and areas of open water there as the water level drops.

As always, be cautious navigating steep shorelines with fractured ice. Lower-angled sections are safer for accessing the lake and we highly recommend using traction devices.

Great bubbles once you clear off the snow!

Most of the lake is snow-covered as of evening of January 24
