Experience the best of what winter has to offer in the Nordegg & Abraham region with an ice walk on Abraham Lake, and a hike to a spectacular frozen waterfall. Our guides know the best bubble viewing spots, and the location for the ice bubble tour varies depending on ice conditions. You choose which frozen waterfall you would like to discover, or you can let us pick for you!

• Meet your guide at the Rockies Heli base.​

• From there, follow your guide by car to Abraham Lake.

• Prepare for a brief walk to reach the ice, where you'll have plenty of time to explore the frozen expanse of Abraham Lake. Discover the famous methane bubbles and unique ice features and patterns, while taking in the majestic Rocky Mountain scenery!

• We will take a short break for lunch, then drive to the trailhead for our Frozen Waterfalls Hike. From there, we will head out on the trail!
